Choose the right clean
Standard vs deep vs move-out cleaning
Most homes only need a standard clean. Book a deep clean if the home hasn’t been professionally cleaned in a few months, and a move-out clean when the home is empty and a landlord or buyer will inspect it.
| Standard clean | Deep clean | Move-out clean | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Keeping a lived-in home clean | First visit, seasonal reset, before guests | Empty home before handing back the keys |
| Kitchen | Counters, sink, stovetop, appliance fronts, microwave | Plus grease buildup, cabinet fronts, hood | Plus inside oven, fridge, every cabinet and drawer |
| Bathrooms | Cleaned and sanitized | Plus grout, scale and soap scum | Plus inside vanities and medicine cabinets |
| Dusting | Reachable surfaces | Plus baseboards, doors, vents, fans, blinds | Every surface including closets |
| 1 bedroom | $200 | $300 | $400 |
| 3 bedrooms | $290 | $440 | $560 |

Pricing
What changes the price
Our prices are published so you can compare before you call. These are the things that can move a price up or down:
- Home size and number of bathrooms
- Whether the home is fully empty
- Condition of the kitchen and bathrooms
- Add-ons like carpet cleaning and interior windows
You always see your price before booking, and anything unusual is confirmed with you before work starts. Text a photo to (916) 465-1850 if you’re not sure.
Before we arrive
How to prepare
- 1Book for the day you get the keys, before the movers come
- 2Keep water and power on
- 3Leave a key or lockbox code if you won’t be there
- 4Tell us about anything the last occupant left behind. We can haul it away first
Why clean before you move in
The parts of a new home nobody cleaned
Even when a home was “cleaned” before you got the keys, the places that matter most to you are often skipped: the inside of kitchen cabinets where your dishes will go, drawers, the fridge where your food will go, the oven, the shower and toilet you are about to use, and closet shelves.
Once furniture and boxes are in, those places are hard to reach. A move-in clean on the day you get the keys means everything you touch first is clean.
| Area | What we clean before you move in |
|---|---|
| Kitchen | Inside and outside every cabinet and drawer, inside oven and fridge, counters, sink, backsplash, range hood |
| Bathrooms | Toilets, tubs and showers scrubbed and disinfected, inside vanities and drawers, mirrors, fixtures |
| Bedrooms & closets | Closet shelves and rods, baseboards, doors and frames, light switches, blinds |
| Whole home | Vents and fans dusted, window sills and tracks, floors vacuumed and mopped |
Timing
When to book a move-in clean
- 1Book as soon as you know your key date: weekends and the end of the month fill first.
- 2Schedule the clean for the day you get the keys, before the movers.
- 3If the last occupant left things behind, we haul them away first, then clean.
- 4Walk through after we finish; if anything was missed, we come back and re-clean it free.
Moving out of your old place at the same time? We can clean both homes (one for your landlord’s inspection and one for your move-in) and haul away what you don’t want to take, from $75.
Homeowners, landlords & realtors
Getting a Sacramento home ready to rent or sell
Much of our work in Sacramento is helping people at the moments a home changes hands: tenants moving out, owners getting a rental ready for the next tenant, sellers preparing for listing photos, and new owners or renters moving in. We clean houses, apartments, condos and offices: empty or furnished.
| Situation | What we do |
|---|---|
| Rental turnover | Haul away anything the last tenant left, then a full move-out clean with inside appliances, cabinets and closets. |
| Getting ready to sell | Clear clutter and old furniture, then a deep clean before photos and showings; windows and carpet on request. |
| Moving in | A move-in clean so kitchens, bathrooms and closets are clean before your things arrive. |
| Moving out | A landlord-ready clean and free re-clean if your landlord documents something we missed. |
One company for the clean-out and the clean means one appointment, one crew and one invoice. Move-out cleaning starts at $400; junk removal at $75.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
How much does move-in cleaning cost in Sacramento?
+
$400 for a studio or 1-bedroom, $470 for 2 bedrooms, $560 for 3 and $650 for 4: the same prices as our move-out cleaning, with the same checklist.
What is the difference between move-in and move-out cleaning?
+
The checklist is the same. Move-out cleaning is timed for a landlord’s inspection; move-in cleaning is timed for the day you get the keys, so everything is clean before your belongings go in.
Should I clean a home the previous owner says was already cleaned?
+
Most people still do. Inside cabinets, drawers, the oven, fridge and bathroom fixtures are where the last occupant’s grime stays, and it is much easier to clean them while the home is empty.
Can you clean a newly built home?
+
Yes. New homes have fine construction dust on every surface, inside cabinets and in window tracks. For heavy dust after a build or remodel, our post-construction cleaning starts at $299.
Do I need to be there?
+
No. Leave a lockbox or door code; the home just needs to be empty with utilities on.
How long does a move-in clean take?
+
Most empty apartments and small homes take a crew a few hours; larger homes take most of a day. We confirm timing when you book.
Do you bring your own supplies?
+
Yes, all cleaning products and equipment. Tell us if you prefer fragrance-free products.
